Good day Wholesome Consuming – Fancy French Toast!

“I like sleep as a result of it’s like a time machine to breakfast!” And who doesn’t love a great breakfast? The choices are countless… eggs, contemporary fruit, oatmeal, toast, peanut butter, scorching tea… what’s to not love?!

Rising up my favourite breakfast meals was French Toast sticks- , the type you purchase frozen in bulk at a grocery store warehouse retailer… the oblong blocks you pile into the toaster oven, look forward to the sizzle, then fill your plate and canopy with syrup?? Ahhh, the nice ol’ days. Nicely, right this moment I’m sharing a grown up, gluten-free, more healthy choice to my childhood fave. It’ll flip any breakfast time into an important day. This recipe is fast, simple, nourishing and scrumptious!

Elements:

  • 2 slices Canyon Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin bread
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon milk of alternative (I used almond milk)
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon vanilla
  • 1-2 tablespoons actual maple syrup, warmed
  • Any extra toppings (I used chopped walnuts, banana chunks, frozen raspberries & coconut flakes)

Directions:

  1. In a bowl combine egg with milk, cinnamon, and vanilla
  2. Soak every slice of Canyon Gluten Free Cinnamon Raisin bread into the combination
  3. In a nonstick pan over medium warmth, add soaked slices of bread
  4. After about 2 minutes (when backside facet is golden brown), flip the slices of bread
  5. Cook dinner 2-3 extra minutes or till egg is absolutely cooked
  6. Take away from warmth and drizzle with maple syrup
  7. Add any extra toppings and make your plate look as stunning as doable! Serve with a reasonably fabric serviette, a beautiful mug of tea, and a candy smile in your face. BON APPETIT!
